Despite her enormous popularity, she struggled with personal and health problems. She died tragically in 1962, leaving behind a legend that continues to fascinate people around the world to this day. 

The reverse of the coin features an image of Marilyn Monroe in her iconic pose, with her characteristic white dress blowing in the wind, known from one of her most famous films. The figure is depicted in a way that emphasizes the actress's elegance and timeless style.
