The reverse of the coin features a left-facing profile of Charles III. Along the upper edge are the inscriptions “CHARLES III” and “AUSTRALIA,” while the lower part displays information on weight, silver fineness, and denomination: “1/2 oz 9999 Ag” and “50 CENTS.” The obverse of the coin features a dynamic scene depicting two horses—an adult and a foal—galloping through a rocky landscape. A water reservoir is visible in the background, while vegetation in the foreground lends the composition a natural character. Above the animals is the Chinese character for “horse” (馬), and below is the inscription “HORSE 2026.” At the bottom of the design, near the edge of the coin, is the mint mark “P,” the symbol of The Perth Mint.
