Silver Koala - a coin inspired by Australia's unparalleled fauna

Introducing a special edition silver Koala issued on the occasion of the ANDA fair. The Brisbane Money Expo ANDA is an annual numismatic fair organized by the Australian Numismatic Dealers Association (ANDA). In 2025, it was held April 5-6 at the Queensland Sports & Athletics Centre (QSAC) in Brisbane . The event attracted local and interstate dealers, offering the opportunity to buy, sell and exchange coins and collectibles from around the country. In celebration of ANDA's 30th anniversary, attendees enjoyed exclusive product launches, meetings with other collectors and a family atmosphere.

On the reverse side of the bullion coin, we see a colorful silhouette of an Australian koala bear sitting on a tree branch. On the left side we can read the year of issue, as well as the weight of the coin and the sample of silver from which it was made. The obverse of the presented coin is decorated with an image of the Queen King Charles III, along with the denomination of 1 Australian dollar. The coin is sold in a thematic blister referring to the numismatic event. The mintage of this edition has been limited to only 2,500 pieces.
