The coin collection entitled "7 Wonders of the Ancient World" brings us closer to the mythical famous buildings created by our ancient ancestors from all over the world. These buildings, as a result of wars, neglect or natural disasters, have not survived to the present day. We are able to reconstruct their appearance on the basis of the records of ancient scholars, writers, or travelers. The latest edition of the series, which is also the penultimate, presents the famous Mausoleum of Halicarnassus - a city located in present-day Turkey.
The reverse of the silver coin presents an image of the famous ancient structure of the Mausoleum, which is the tomb of one of the Persian magnates. The temple was built in the ancient Greek style, with characteristic Ionic columns. The obverse of the coin refers to the ancient Greek circulating coin - hemidrachma. The featured coin was made of 0.999 fine silver weighing 1 troy ounce. The mintage of the series was limited to only 7777 copies worldwide.
