Copper Round Montesquieu, 1 oz.
Copper is an increasingly popular metal among investors.
Copper medal with an image of the philosopher, Monteskius.
We present the fourth medal in the series, this time made of copper, this time dedicated to Montesquieu. He was a French philosopher, jurist and writer. He is considered one of the most important thinkers of the Enlightenment era, who played a key role in the development of political and legal science. Montesquieu is best known for his work "The Spirit of Rights," published in 1748, which became one of the key works in the field of political theory and social philosophy. In "The Spirit of Rights," Montesquieu presented his theory of the separation of powers into legislative, executive and judicial, which forms the basis of many democratic constitutions around the world.
The obverse of the copper medal presents a bust of Montesquieu, on which he proudly looks upward. At the bottom, a ribbon bears the figure's name. The reverse shows a symbolic depiction of his system of division of the State, where the legislative, executive and judicial powers are independent of each other, but work together. At the bottom is the medal's weight of 1 ounce AVPD, or 28.35 grams.
