The silver coin refers to the cycling world championships.

The 2025 Road Cycling World Championships will be held from September 21-28 in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. This is a historic event, as it will be the first time a championship of this stature will hit the African continent. The organizers have prepared an extremely demanding route - in the elite men's competition the competitors will cover 267.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of more than 5,400 meters, and the key section of the struggle will be the legendary cobbled Wall du Kigali. The difficulty of the route is further influenced by the altitude - the city is located at about 1,850 meters above sea level, which increases the burden on the riders. The event's program includes individual time trials, a mixed team relay race and the prestigious mass start race. The women's elite distance will be 164.6 kilometers, and the men's will be as long as 267.5 kilometers, making this one of the toughest championships ever. The organization of the competition in Rwanda is not only a promotion of cycling, but also a symbolic step towards the development of the sport across the African continent.

The reverse of the commemorative silver coin features a dynamic cycling scene - two riders leading a peloton, embodying rivalry, determination and the spirit of sportsmanship. To the right is a group of fans, cheering by the roadside, which gives the design a unique authenticity and emphasizes Rwandans' enthusiasm for the championship. The rim is stamped with the name of the series, the year of issue and detailed technical data, such as weight and silver sample, which confirm its numismatic value. The lower part of the reverse contains an inscription with the name of the ship, introducing an additional symbolic element. The coin's obverse depicts the official coat of arms of Rwanda, the country issuing the coin, highlighting its stature and national character. The numismatic coin has a denomination of 50 Rwandan francs, serving as legal tender, while at the same time being a unique collector's souvenir.
