Legendary Warriors Silver Round: Geronimo, 1 oz.

The silver disc is the latest release of the warmly received Legendary Warriorscollection.

Geronimo is one of North America's most famous and fascinating Native American chiefs. Born around 1829 as a member of the Apache tribe, Geronimo experienced the brutal reality of Western colonization. His life was marked by a struggle for survival as the U.S. Army pushed for the expansion of Indian territories. The warrior spearheaded the resistance to oppression, becoming a symbol of the relentless struggle against the violation of his people's land and culture. After years of struggle, Geronimo took up farming and tried to promote peace between his people and white settlers.

The reverse of the silver medal shows Chiricahua Indian chief Geronimo sitting with a rifle at the ready next to his mount. In the background one can see part of the camp with the settlers set up next to the river in the mountainous area. The upper part of the reverse is engraved with the inscription "GERONIMO". On the reverse of the coin you will find various weapons used in battle by the warriors, as well as information on the bullion sample and weight.
