2004 Australian Kookaburra Silver Coin, 1 oz.

Australian Kookaburra is one of a series of investment coins dedicated to Australian animal species.

zł800.00

The Australian Kookaburra is another coin from Perth referring to Australia's natural wealth.

This 2004 silver investment coin is the 23rd edition of the popular series featuring the hoary kukaburra - an Australian bird also known as the giant hunter. It is the largest representative of its family, and its smaller cousin, the common kingfisher, can be found in Poland.

The reverse of this edition shows a pair of kukabur, one of them sitting on a branch, while the other hovers behind it in the air. The upper part of the reverse bore the inscription Australian Kookaburra, while the lower part features the date of issue, weight and silver test. The already classic obverse of the silver coin remained unchanged from its predecessors - it depicts Queen Elizabeth II in right profile. It is worth mentioning that the presented vintage has the lowest mintage of all editions.
