The reverse of the coin depicts the mysterious Pearl Voyager—an extraordinary vessel which, according to legend, was built in distant Scotland and coated with a special alloy of silver and nickel. Thanks to this, during a full moon, its hull shone like a pearl amidst the sea mist. Under the command of the eccentric explorer and millionaire Vale, the vessel set out in search of the lost island of Te-Atua. After several weeks of the expedition, all contact with the ship was lost. More than sixty years later, the Pearl Voyager was found drifting in the ocean—abandoned, without a crew or logbooks. While attempting to bring it to port, the ship vanished again without a trace. To this day, sailors believe that during a full moon, one can see the silvery silhouette of the ship emerging from the fog. The obverse of the coin features a soaring eagle clutching an olive branch—a symbol of freedom, peace, and strength. The entire set is housed in an elegant quadrum-style capsule along with a themed paper sleeve, which perfectly highlights the collectible nature of this unique issue.
