The Australian Mint Perth Mint decided to create this unique product intended as a gift to commemorate the timeless moment that is the birth of a new family member. The coin is inspired by the most recognizable elements of Australian flora and fauna. It features a tiny kukabura, kangaroo and koala bear surrounded by spiky seed pods and eucalyptus leaves.

The reverse of the coin shows three newborn animals; a kukaburra chick, a baby kangaroo and a koala bear. The three little ones were made in color. Above them is an inscription, expressing CONGRATULATIONS. The obverse depicts a portrait of King Charles III, along with information on the currency's weight of 1/2 ounce and the denomination of 50 Australian dollars. The silver coin was packaged in a dedicated gift box, allowing you to personalize it and include a photo, gift card, or simply a greeting card.
