The first coin in the series about the China panda was presented in 1983, and from 1987 to 2015, coins from the collection were made of .999 sterling silver and weighing 31.1 grams. Since 2016, the China Panda has been issued in an unusual format with a weight of 30 grams. Today, the coin with the image of the panda is available in 30g, 150g and 1kg sizes. In addition to its distinctive weight, the currency is distinguished by its annually changing image on the reverse. The proof product is characterized by workmanship with attention to detail, moreover, the currency has been enhanced with a coloring effect, which has a significant impact on its collector value.

The reverse of the collector coin is decorated with two pandas - one of them climbing up a tree to the other, emerging from under the leaves. Next to the pandas one will find information on the bullion sample, weight and the denomination of 50 Yuan. The obverse of the coin presents an image of the Temple of Heaven located in Beijing, unchanged for many years. From the obverse we can read the date of issue of the coin. The whole is complemented by a dedicated case with a certificate confirming the authenticity of the product.
