Beasts of the Tudors is a series that replaced the incredibly popular Beasts of the Queen collection .

The Tudors Beast coin series has replaced its predecessor, The Queens Beasts, which was very well received by collectors and investors. The new series was created to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Elizabeth II's coronation as Queen of the United Kingdom. The series presents twelve heraldic creatures associated with the history of the royal families of the United Kingdom. All of these creatures were present in the form of dowries in Westminster Abbey, where the coronation took place.

The reverse depicts the Black Bull of Clarence holding a coat of arms in its hooves. The Black Bull of Clarence is a symbol of power and might. It is associated with the rise of the House of York in the 15th century. The bull first appeared on the royal coat of arms in the 1560s during the reign of Elizabeth I, when she ordered the re-minting of all silver coins. On the obverse, we see the left profile of the current king, Charles III, along with the denomination designation of 100 British pounds.
