The Silver Maltese Cross is a new bullion coin issued by Pressburg Mint, which began last year. The currency was made possible through a partnership with the Central Bank of Malta. The theme is the Maltese Cross, the symbol of one of the oldest and most significant orders of knights. The order traces its roots back to the 11th century, when it was founded as a monastic group to care for pilgrims in the Holy Land.

On the reverse of the silver bullion coin we see the distinctive Cross of Malta.
