The valor's theme refers to the rich history of Poland.

The presented medal is the third installment of the "Hussars" series , highly valued among collectors, dedicated to one of the most recognizable and awe-inspiring military formations in Polish history. The series pays tribute to the famous heavy-armed cavalry of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which achieved worldwide fame in the 16th and 17th centuries and is still regarded as a symbol of Polish arms.

Hussars, also called "winged cavalry" because of their characteristic wings at the armor, were an elite cavalry formation. Its soldiers - hussars - were distinguished not only by their excellent training and courage, but also by their extraordinary effectiveness on the battlefields. Hussar charges, conducted with unprecedented speed and momentum, were able to settle the fate of even the most fierce clashes. Their power was the result of the interplay of many factors: perfectly devised strategy, iron discipline, masterful tactics and indomitable fighting spirit.

The reverse of the silver medal depicts a dynamic scene - a hussar in full attack, raising his saber, ready to deliver a decisive blow. The right side of the composition features a four-armed cross, and right next to it the name of the series along with the next edition number. The obverse, in turn, is decorated with the centrally placed emblem of the Republic, an expression of national pride. In the lower part there is an additional symbolic element - the fictitious denomination "1/10 of the Polish penny", which gives the medal a unique character and emphasizes its collector's dimension.
