Music Legends: The Who 2021, 1 oz Silver Coin

The collection was dedicated to the biggest stars of the British music scene.

Legends of music, or artists without whom it is difficult to imagine music today. The band Queen, Elton John and David Bowie, whose images appeared on earlier editions of the series, are joined by the rock band The Who. The band was founded in 1964 and has been cited by cultural experts alongside The Beatles and The Rolling Stones as one of the bands with the greatest influence on the sound of British rock music at the time.

The featured bullion coin is another fourth edition of the Music Legends series from The Royal Mint. The coin's reverse was dominated by a guitar decorated with the British flag. At the top, there was a logo characteristic of the band The Who. The technical parameters of the coin - the weight, silver test and year of issue - were placed in the characteristic manner of the series - in small letters along the edge. On the reverse you will find the classic image of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination of 2 British pounds.
