The Somali Leopard is one of the coins belonging to the African Wildlife collection.

African Wildlife, is a unique series of bullion coins dedicated to the wild animals of Africa. The leopard is the second year-on-year release in the series - an African elephant went on sale a little earlier. Production of the coins is carried out by Bavarian State Mint, and the collectible character of the series is added by the changing reverse image each year.

The featured silver bullion coin is the official legal tender of Somalia. Its reverse features the country's coat of arms - a star placed on a shield, supported by two leopards. The currency has a face value of 100 shillings. The reverse of the 2021 coin depicts a leopard sitting on a tree branch. In the background one can see the scorching African sun and a semi-desert savannah landscape. In the rim are the name of the series - African Wildlife, the coin's weight and the sample of silver used for production.
