The theme of the series is the mythical phoenix, a mythical bird found in various mythologies, usually associated with Egyptian, Greek and Chinese traditions. The main feature of the phoenix is its ability to regenerate itself and be reborn from its own ashes. According to mythology, when the phoenix was nearing the end of its life, it would build itself a nest of branches and incense, and then burn itself in it. From the ashes, a new, young phoenix was created, which then flew into the world, continuing the cycle of rebirth.

The reverse of this silver investment coin shows us a burning, flying phoenix. The top of the coin bears the name of the series in the rim, while the lower part of the bolt shows the year of issue, as well as the silver proof and weight. The obverse depicts the profile of King Charles III along with the denomination, with the date of issue again placed in the lower part of the coin.
