The sword was made from 2.5 ounces of pure .999 sterling silver, making for a numismatic piece of considerable size at 17 centimeters long and nearly 5 wide. The weapon was made as a variant of a one-handed weapon with a double-sided blade with a guard stylized in the shape of an angel's wing.
