A gold investment coin weighing 1/12th of a troy ounce.

zł1,593.00

The gold coin refers to the cycling world championships.

The 2025 Road Cycling World Championships will take place from September 21-28 in Kigali and will be hosted on the African continent for the first time ever. Rwanda has prepared a spectacular, yet extremely challenging course - the elite men will face a challenge of 267.5 kilometers with an elevation of more than 5,400 meters. One of the most distinctive sections will be the cobbled and steep Mur du Kigali, which could play a key role in the competition. An additional difficulty for the riders will be the altitude - the capital of Rwanda is located at about 1,850 meters above sea level. The program includes individual time trials, a mixed team relay race and a classic mass start race. The women's elite distance will be 164.6 kilometers and the men's 267.5 kilometers, making this year's championship one of the toughest in the event's history. Hosting the event in Africa is a landmark moment in the history of cycling and opens up new prospects for the development of the sport.

The reverse of the gold coin depicts cyclists approaching the finish line. The figures symbolize the determination, effort and success that accompany the championship. The background of the composition is filled with a stylized panorama of Kigali with distinctive hills visible in the distance. The rim bears the name of the collection, the year of issue, and information on the weight and purity of the gold, which confirm the unique and prestigious nature of the numismatic coin. The coin's obverse is decorated with the national coat of arms of Rwanda - the country issuing the coin - which emphasizes its official status. The coin has a denomination of 100 Rwandan francs and is a full-fledged means of payment, combining commemorative, artistic and investment value.
