A collector's coin issued in an edition of only 500 pieces.

The hero to whom the first coin issued as part of The Gangsters series is dedicated is the legendary Al Capone. Also known as the Scarface Man, he was one of the most powerful gangsters during the Prohibition era. Thanks to the huge profits from the sale of illegal alcohol, he was able to corrupt the authorities in Chicago, where he operated, and expand his criminal empire. He was known for his brutality, but also for his cunning - he conducted his operations through underlings, which meant that not many acts could be proven against him. He was eventually convicted not for his violent crimes, but for unpaid taxes.

The reverse of the cylinder depicts Capone looking after his men while loading barrels of liquor onto cars. Visible are the familiar attributes of gangsters of those years - a pinstripe suit, a hat, a cigar in his mouth and, of course, a gun hidden under his jacket. At the top of the coin we see the inscription "AL CAPONE." The obverse is stylized as the barrel of a revolver with four cartridges in the chambers. We also see on it the coat of arms of the issuing country, Niue, as well as information about the denomination and the year the coin was minted. Both the reverse and obverse are oxidized, additionally the bullets visible on the obverse are plated with 24 karat gold.

The coin is accompanied by a case made of wood, stylized as a chest used by criminals to carry weapons or contraband. It has room for the other three currencies in the series and their certificates.
