The variant of the silver coin has a small mintage of 1,000 pieces

From August 19-23, 2025, the American Numismatic Association held its prestigious World's Fair of Money® exhibition for the first time ever in Oklahoma City, at the convention center at 100 Mick Cornett Drive. More than 8,000 collectors, dealers and mint representatives attended the event, offering more than 500 booths of rare coins, banknotes, medals and gold. The program included educational seminars such as the Sundman Lecture Symposium, Money Talks short presentations and a "Young Collectors Corner" zone for younger collectors. Unique exhibits such as the 1907 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle, 1913 Liberty Head Nickel and 1804 Draped Bust Silver Dollar were on display, and there were auctions and opportunities for PCGS and NGC grading services. The event also marked the launch of limited editions, including a new "NOMISMA" medal designed by Joel Iskowitz and an early design for the Oklahoma Goldback series. The event marked a new chapter in the annual numismatic calendar and attracted a wide community of enthusiasts

On the reverse of the coin issued to mark the fair, we see the motif that will be featured on the 2026 edition of the coin. On it we see two elephants walking on the savannah. The left side features a small privy-mark referring to the event. The coin's periphery bears the inscriptions: "AFRICAN WILDLIFE", "ELEPHANT", as well as the stated weight and silver sample. The coin's reverse features Somalia's coat of arms, with a shield with a star supported by two leopards, and below are crossed spears and palm leaves. The outer perimeter of the reverse shows information about the country of origin, the year of issue and the denomination: "SOMALI REPUBLIC 2025 100 SHILLINGS".
