The copper medal is an interesting option for precious metals investors and enthusiasts alike.

The saying "Sic Semper Tyrannis" comes from Latin and means "Yes always to tyrants" or "This is the fate of tyrants." It has traditionally been interpreted as an expression of opposition to tyranny and a foreshadowing of its inevitable demise. The phrase is attributed to Brut during the assassination of Julius Caesar, although there is no clear historical evidence of its use at that time. In modern times it has become a symbol of the struggle for freedom, with its most famous use occurring during the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth in 1865. To this day, the slogan still appears on the seal of the state of Virginia in the US.

At the very top is the inscription SILVER SHIELD, while at the bottom we can read the weight of the value. On the reverse we see a female personification of freedom standing over the defeated oppressor.
