Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone 2022, 2 oz Silver Coin

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is the first installment in the series about the young wizard.

The silver collector coin is inspired by the first novel by author J.K. Rowling telling the story of a young boy named Harry Potter who discovers he is a wizard. Together with his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, Harry enters a world of magic, adventure and mystery. The main plot of "The Philosopher's Stone" focuses on Harry's attempt to stop the evil wizard Lord Voldemort, who seeks to regain his powers and take control of the wizarding world. Central to the plot is the search for the Philosopher's Stone, an artifact that grants immortality.

On the reverse of the coin we see the title character clad in his trademark maroon sweater. At the very top is placed the name of the character. In the background, in turn, we have depicted giant chess figures, with which the main characters had to play a game on their way to the philosopher's stone. The obverse shows us the right profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, along with the name of the issuing country, the year of issue and the denomination of $5 New Zealand dollars.
