After exploring the mythology behind the goddesses Hera and Eos, it was time for the latest installment in the series featuring Cybele, the Mother of the Gods. The origins of Cybele known as "Magna Mater" are not rooted in Rome or Greece, but in Phrygia, a part of modern Turkey. The goddess was born to be the link between the God of Heaven and Mother Earth herself. She was known as the mother of all life and all other gods. The Cybele coin features a detailed design by acclaimed designer Joel Iskowitz. In addition, the coin has been limited to a mintage of 10,000 pieces, which adds to its collector value.

The reverse of the presented silver bullion coin is decorated with an image of Cybele riding a chariot through the night sky. The chariot is led by lions, which represent the goddess's ease of establishing positive relations with the wildest elements of nature. The obverse presents a portrait of King Charles III, next to which we read the denomination and weight. The coin is the official means of payment on the island of Saint Helena.
