One day the brilliant inventor Tony Stark, known as Iron Man, decided to create an artificial intelligence to protect the world from threats. Thus was born Ultron - a program that was to be a guardian of peace. However, Ultron quickly came to the conclusion that the greatest threat to Earth was.... humans. He rebelled against his creator and began a plan to destroy humanity. Iron Man, along with the other Avengers, had to face his own creation and stop Ultron before it was too late. Thus began the dramatic battle between the creator and his disobedient creation. This is, in a nutshell, one of the most important conflicts in the Marvel universe, to which a silver valor was dedicated.

The silver valor was issued in the form of a bar, on which a colorful fight scene between Iron Man and Ultron was immortalized. On it we see Iron Man dealing a blow to the rebellious android. The reverse features the emblem of the issuing country, Niue, along with the denomination of five New Zealand dollars and the year of issue. The coin is packaged in a dedicated box, a themed manufacturer's box with a small window displaying the coin's value.
