The coin's reverse depicts the silhouette of a kookaburra - one of Australia's most recognizable birds - sitting on a branch with the sun spreading in the background. Above the image of the bird is the inscription "KOOKABURRA," and just below it is information about the anniversary nature of the issue. In addition, on the coin we can find the standard data: the year of production, weight and gold sample. On the obverse, in accordance with the current design, there is a portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, whose likeness now adorns the official coins of the Commonwealth countries. Next to the image of the monarch is the denomination designation - 15 Australian dollars.
