One of the most recognizable bullion coins issued by the acclaimed Perth-based mint.
The popular series of coins with the image of the Australian bird is more than 30 years old - the collection debuted with its silver version in 1990. Over the years, the silver coins have been joined by kookaburras made of other metals - platinum and gold. The series is distinguished by an image on the reverse that changes every year. The 2022 version features a modernized design, standing apart from previous editions.
The reverse of the presented gold investment coin is decorated with a Kookaburra resting on a stone pedestal against a background of Australian vegetation. Next to the right edge is engraved the inscription "KOOKABURRA" in a new typeface. On the left side we can read the silver sample, weight and date of issue of the coin. The obverse of the coin is decorated with a classic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II along with the denomination.
