Germania Mint Gods Silver Bar: Widar, 2 oz.

Vidar is the Norse god of vengeance and silence, son of Odin and the giantess Grid. He is known for his extraordinary strength and indomitable will. In Scandinavian mythology, he plays a pivotal role during Ragnarok - according to prophecy, he is the one who avenges Odin's death by killing the wolf Fenrir, tearing his maw with a powerful boot. Vidar is often portrayed as a quiet and solitary god, avoiding unnecessary words, but with great determination. He symbolizes courage, perseverance and a destiny that will inevitably be fulfilled. After Ragnarök, he is supposed to be one of the gods who will survive and usher in a new world order.

The front colored side of the silver ingot shows us the image of Widar sitting on a throne. He is covered with animal skins and girded with a golden belt. His mouth is covered with a bandage, alluding to his silent posture. On the other side there is a minted numismatic specification, we can find information about the weight, silver sample and individual numbering of the bar. The whole piece is packaged in a dedicated box along with a manufacturer's certificate.
